6 months!!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i know i say it every month but really...my baby is 6 months old. time flew by! i can remember the moment she was handed to me after she was born, my puffy, big baby!!! she is huge now and so awesome. she can sit up all by herself, chews everything, laughs out loud, has stranger anxiety (not a good one), can be so silly and so serious, loves to watch the cat and dog, and loves to play with her toys! i have loved watching her grow and see her personality develop. it will be cool to see how she continues to change. i can't wait to see if the next baby is similar of not!

we went to the doctors today. she is 14 lbs. 14oz (25%) and 27 inches long (75%). so still a long skinny baby!! he said she looks great and should be teething soon, he felt her gums and said they are separating??? i guess that is a first sign of a tooth! he asked if we are doing any food yet, i said no...he said she is growing well and no need to start anything if we don;t want to. so we will see if we start before the next appt. at 9 months. i am in no hurry!

we also did a few days hanging out the the tonies and kids, but i never took a picture...figures!! we had fun though and kinsley has now been in a swing on the playground and loves it, i will have to get more pics and post them soon!

zoo day

since the weather was great and daddy was off work we went to the zoo!! it was so much fun and kinsley enjoyed the people watching more the the animal watching!

it was a nice day and we had good family time at the zoo. i think we will have lots of fun taking kinsley there this summer on daddy's days off!

we went to see kinsley's great grandparents while in toledo. they just love her to death, i love watching them with her. wish we could have gotten home to moon too so her other greats could have seen her too. we will have to make a trip soon, maybe just me and her!

tutus!!!

we went to averie's 5th birthday party while we were in toledo. i can't believe she is already 5!!!! beth made the girls tutus!! they were so cute...i loved them!! i know you never thought i would be a tutu mom, but look how cute they are!

we are still here

i know i have not posted in awhile. lucky for kinsley daddy had a week off of work so we have been having some family fun together. we went to toledo for a few days, wanted to go to moon to but grandpa had to go out of town :( we went to the zoo, went swimming some more, went to a b-day party for averie, and got sick for a few days with a fever. we also got to hang out as a family with the tonies. usually brandon doesn't get to hang out because of work so it was nice that we could all get together this week.

i will post pics and some more details soon.

ok so i have to say that i never understood when my friends with kids would call and tell me about every little milestone their kid was doing, or little quirks they had, or big adventures they went on. don't get me wrong i was excited for them and loved the stories, but i would just laugh because they would be so excited about it all. of course they knew i thought this way and would say things like you just wait till you have one....and now i get it!!!!!

i think every little thing kinsley does is adorable, funny, amazing, and super cool! i want to tell the world every time she is sitting in her car seat talking to herself, or when she sucks her toes, or my neck as she has been lately! i think it is so cool when she learns a new skill like sitting up, laughing, or realizes something moves like the beads on one of her toys, just today she was moving them up and down for the first time and checking her self out in the mirror!!! ADORABLE!!

so i must apologize to all those friends that i would laugh and say you are so funny! you have my permission to laugh at me now. i am just glad to finally be able to understand and experience it for myself. i knew i would love having kids, it is all i ever wanted to do, but until you have your own it is an indescribable feeling and connection. so i am sorry! and I GET IT NOW!

we went swimming again today with aunt mel! today i put kinsley underwater and she was totally fine, no tears at all, just a funny face. the water was colder then the other day and she was hungry so we didn't stay as long, and she stayed curled up when i put her on her back. last time she stretched out and it was great but i didn't get a picture of that.

we took kinsley swimming in a pool for the first time!!! she looked so cute in her swim suit!!!!

we did not put her under this time, but maybe the next time we go, but she did love it. she sat in the zero entry and played with water toys. i also put her on her back and she did a great back float!! of course i still had to hold her up but she was all the way stretched out on her back and my arms were out stretched in front of my body!! she did awesome. we also put her on her belly and her legs would go crazy, her face did go in a couple times but no tears. i had her jumping in the water too and making big splashes! overall it was a very fun day at the pool. we will take more pics next time. but here are 2 cute ones.
