fall

forgot to mention that earlier this month adley decided to flip backwards out of her highchair onto the tile floor in the kitchen. it was a pretty scary moment, we called 911 and her doc. she checked out ok and ended up being just fine. we visited the dr the next day because she wouldn't bare weight on her legs...she had an ear infection and since the meds have kicked in she is now standing up just fine! crazy baby!

7 months

my adley girl is 7 months old today and i didn't take one stinkin picture! when she wakes up here in a bit for her feeding it will be a photo session!!!! probably a sleepy one :) we did go get her professional ones done today tho.

so miss adley. she is definitely our more reserved and quiet baby. she can scream with the best of them don;t get me wrong but she is usually very quiet. she can babble but doesn't often and really only cries when she is hungry or very tired, well and if we leave her anywhere. she is very sensitive! we will see how all this turns into more of her personality over the next few months.

she LOVES food as much if not more then kinsley did. she has had avocado, sweet potato, pears, prunes (due to constipation) watered down apple juice(due to constipation) and i will probably be doing carrots, peas, and other vegges this next month. so far she likes it all and eats like a champ!

she is still rolling all over and every so often will try to get on all fours, she is figuring out how to propel herself to her toys with pushing her toes, rolling or spinning. she has just decided she likes her jumper and will play in there happy most days now which is a nice break for me, safer then the floor!!!!

she is huge too! bigger then kinsley was and already some 6-9 and eve 6-12 month clothes are too small. so crazy, i figure its a good thing tho with how rough kinsley is, adley needs to be bigger one day!

SANTA!

kinsley hated him and they had to work very hard to get her on his lap, some of the pictures were horrible she was twisting and screaming so much. we liked this one because we could still see her face ad still tell she was not happy about it!!!

FOOD!!! ans 6 month appt

we have started food with adley. she has had one week of avocado so far and we will try sweet potatoes next. she seems to like it and goes back for more but still gags a bit and didn't like the texture on her hands. she preferred the big chunks of avocado to chew on then the smashed up stuff. i think we read her signs right and she is ready to go!

we also had her 6 month appt the other day. she is HUGE!!!! she ways 16 lbs 2 oz (which is almost exactly what kinsley weighed at 9 months!!!!!) and she is 26.5 inches which is .5 less the kinsley was at 6 months. so we called the wrong girl moose!!! she is in 75% for weight and 50% in height, she is still considered tall, and her weight is fine says the dr. nothing mush else it was a routine appt, everything looks good, she got shots and cried and then was a cranky tired mess for the next two days!

yep you read that right we have tooth number two! so she has both bottom middles.

6 months old!

Little Miss Adley Jane is 6 months old! wow!!!!! she is so amazing and growing so fast. she is rolling all over the place and swimming to her toys too! she can even get up on all 4s which i think is just crazy. she has a lot to say and growls all the time. she is still a tough one to get to sleep and sty asleep, but it will get better!!! she is developing right on track.

i can't even stand that our little baby is 6 months old. its the last time we will have a 6 months old in the house so we try to enjoy it all even the yucky times! time just goes by way to fast. i can't even imagine what my mom feels like with a 30 yr old! that's just crazy to think of the girls getting to 30!!!

Adley is awesome and really seems to be a happy baby, she plays so well by herself and thinks kinsley is soo cool. she lights up every time she sees her big sister. she has quite the personality already too. it should be fun to see her continue to grow and come into her own!

TOOTH!!!

Adley got her first tooth!!!!!! she is one day short of 6 months old!!! so crazy she seems to young for such things!! we will start food after thanksgiving, i don't want to deal with it while out of town. she is totally ready tho and has been diving for food for awhile at the table so i think it will go well!!! :)

this girl is getting so smart! today she was pointing out circles all over the house, so strange when she just learns something, i don't feel like i ever teach her anything but i guess i do! she is also counting and trying to sing the abc's all the time. she sings lots of other songs too, like pat a cake, wheels on the bus, and our good night song, etc. my favorite right now tho is her dancing! she actually knows some of the steps from fresh beat band one of the shows she likes to watch. they sing and dance and she knows some steps so funny to watch and she does it randomly thru out the day too. so cute! she is growing up so fast and learning so much, now if we could just use the bathroom!

WEDDING

we had a great time at aunt kelsey and uncle adams wedding. kinsley was the most beautiful flower girl!

kinsley loved halloween, she walked for 2 hrs and i pushed an empty stroller that she refused to get in. we took adley to a few houses but then let her stay in with grandma and grandpa she was tired and it was a very chilly night. kinsley doesn't love the candy which is ok with me! they both looked soo adorable!

Adley is 5 months old!

ok i am a few days late, but our little lady is 5 months old!!!! she is growing and changing so much these days. i can tell she is w3anting so badly to play with kinsley and watches everything she is doing, even to the point of not eating because kinsley is so entertaining! she is squirming all over the floor when we put her down, she prefers her belly now and sleeps just like Kinsley did with her knees under her belly! sooo cute :) she can roll belly to back but doesn't do it often, back to belly happens every time we put her down tho! she is sitting up like a champ. she can stay up for a very long time now and when she falls it is very controlled! it is so cool to watch them grow!

bye bye swaddle

yep thats right adley is no longer being swaddled and she is doing great. the last few nights she slept with out being swaddled at all. she just either falls asleep on her back or rolls to her belly, no she is finally taking a paci so that is helpful, but she only uses it for alittle and then spits it out. i was shocked the first night when it was 3 oclock when she woke up to eat i was sure we were going to be up all night long! i guess she was just ready :)

DANCE

kinsley has stared dance classes!!! it is a combo of dance and gym. she had a few rough classes but seems to really like it now and even hugs her teacher!

here is the booboo!

kinsley ended up pulling out 2 of the 3 stitches and then the cut split back open a few times. it is healing now but will probably be an ugly scar.

kinsley got her first set of stitches. she made it to 2 yrs and 1 week! she fell off her tricycle in the kitchen and split her chin wide open, ended up with 3 stitches and a trip to the ER!! good times! she handled it like a champ tho and doesn't seem to mind them at all today. it was quite a way to start the morning. brandon was leaving for the ER by 8:30 am!

kinsley is 2!

kinsley's party was very nice, just a small gathering and she seemed to have a great time. she loved opening presents this year and ran around showing them all to everyone. it took forever, but she was happy and having fun! the cake however...she loved the birthday song but freaked out about the lighted candles. she didn't want them anywhere near her and she would not blow them out, and then she wouldn't eat any cake, which i know she loves. but oh well!!!

i still can't believe she is two. she is getting bigger and smarter everyday. she know soooo much now and talks about everything. i swear everyday she says a new word i didn't even know she knew. she loves all kinds of animals and points them out in the car and on walks all the time. she plays very nice with her blocks, book, stuffed animals and baby dolls. those are her favorites right now. she can sit for along time reading books or looking at her ABC cards and saying all the pictures. so crazy what she knows.

kinsley can follow a 2 or 3 step direction with out a problem, that is if she wants too!! she has quite the temper and her fits are loud! she tries to hit but not hard and we are finding ignoring that works best, except when she hits adley that is straight to time out no warnings, its just not a fair fight! i have a feeling adley will be able to kick kinsley's but when she gets older. kinsley is actually pretty cautious and even shy sometimes, and once she is hit back she tends to back off, although she does have her moments of full on attack!

she is starting to count to 10, and repeat letter sounds and names, she loves to "watch" tv and asks all the time for her shows. "watch mommy" or "Pets" one of her favorite shows. she can say full sentences also with 3 or 4 words.

she is in dance now and that is going well, she had a few classes of just screaming but she is getting much better at going in and doing the class. and she looks adorable in her leotards!

probably alot i am missing but over all she is my baby girl and i wish she would slow down! we love her to pieces, so indescribable! she is so loving and cuddles with the best of them. such a sweetie and such a bull all wrapped up in one! a sweet little bull in the china shop!

2 yr appt

we had kinsley's 2 yr appt today. she is 29 lbs, 34.5 inches. in the 75th percentile! she checked out great. the dr does an ASQ at age two to check all areas of development, its just questions i answer about what she is or isn't doing. she scored above age level in communication and social, and low in gross motor, mostly due to jumping and stairs, and the other areas she was age appropriate. she got two shots and cried but the sticker made it all better!

-talks all the time, putting 2, 3, and sometimes 4 words together.
-labels everything
-sometimes it is hard to understand her but with context clues you can figure it out
-still in HMG for OT
-east like a grown man
-throws great temper tantrums with hitting screaming, head banging, you name it she does it, but they don't last long
-runs like crazy, her energy never stops
-so sweet to her sister and helps mommy all the time
-overall she is an amazing 2 yr old!!!!!!


we have her party on saturday, its a small get together but i am sure she will love it. she has been practicing the happy birthday song and blowing out candles!!!

4 months!

miss adley is 4 months old! it is amazing how fast she is growing!! we had her dr appt and she is 25 inches, 14lbs 4.5 oz. growing every month and consistently in the 75%. she got two shots and cried for abit but as soon as i picked her up she was fine. nothing to exciting she is checking out well and we dont have any concerns!

-rolling back to belly and belly to back, only a few times for each and never when we see it!!!
-laughing all the time and talks alot!
- great smiles!
-likes her jumper seat and also just laying on the floor to play
-sits in bumbo by herself
-sleeps ok but no where near as well as kinsley did, but her awake time is usually happy
-probably alot more i am forgetting!!!

kinsley actually pooped on the potty this morning!!! she asked to go so we did and she went!!!! it was a very exciting moment, although i am not sure when it will ever happen again!!

Fiesta!

the fiesta was great again this year, i good time with good friends. although sadly we missed a few people this year that are part of the core group, hope we all make it next year. but we understand how busy life is. we had four new babies this year...that is crazy!
