SHE HAS A TOOTH!!!!!

tooth number one popped through today!!! 7 months and 1 day old!!!!!
i tried to take a picture but it didn't work. it is just through the gums and sharp!!! she was putting my finger in her mouth when i felt it and it caught me by surprise. i am so excited!!!! but no this does not mean food tomorrow!!! we will stay with our plan of beginning of may sometime!!!

7 months

kinsley is 7 months old!!! here is the only picture i took yesterday...i completely forgot to take more. i am hoping to get a few others from papa joe and mama sue.

so anyways, my little girl is growing up like crazy. she is sitting up all the time now and starting to purposely put herself on her tummy and worm around. no where near crawling yet but she is enjoying this little worm move she learned!!! she loves to mouth everything and really likes the tag on every toy...no joke she will suck on just the tag...i think she learned that from tierney!!! she is talking alot these days too. no words yet but lots of smiles and laughter. she is becoming a happy baby and that is so nice. she can still be a pistil and very fussy but we have much more happy time to enjoy now. i also think she is starting to shake her head no. i don;t think she knows what she is doing but she has done it a few times now so it will be fun to watch that skill increase! of course not so much fun when she learns the word!!!!!!! :)

we have not started food but i plan to soon, probably at the beginning of may sometime. i am actually very excited for it and can't wait. never thought i would say that but it is just a big milestone for her so it is exciting. i do not look forward to the poop, mess, spit up, and all other grossness that comes with real food!!!! i will be sure to update more about that as we get in to it.

showing preference

so it is so amazing to me that at 6 months old kinsley clearly shows preference for things. she has certain toys that she will search for and play with and others that she has no interest in at all. such a little thing with such clear opinions already! right now she loves this little blue octopus. she chews on it non stop. it is always soaked...lovely!!! she still likes some other toys but if she is playing and sees the octopus that is it she goes right for it, sometimes she even moves other toys around looking for it..so crazy to watch. i know i know all babies do this but when it is your own it is just too cool!

not too much else going on here, just getting over some colds and waiting for the warm weather to stay for good.

update and random cookout

update: Kinsley is doing well. she has been sick for the last few days and now mommy is sick too so that is fun! other then that she is great. she loves the nice weather and going for walks. when she isn't sick she does a great job playing by herself now so mommy can get more done around the house, although she has only wanted to be held, rocked, or fed the last few days...poor thing. maybe she is teething??? we will see. brandon and i have been talking about when we will start kinsley on food. she is showing some ready signs and seems to want to dive on our plates any chance she gets!!! she is learning the sippy cup for now and we will wait a little longer on food. maybe next month maybe not!

not too much has been happening around here. same old same old i guess.


so beth and the fam randomly came to town so we all threw together a cookout. it turned out great and was nice to see all the kids and adults!

more easter

since the grandparents all visited before easter we spent easter day and evening with the tonies. we first went to uncle kenny's house and then to tony's parents house. it was a nice day and we had a very good time.
