Day 32

or what is now Day 1 of my new cycle. as i thought i started late. i really would have been OK to be wrong this month, but it is just our first month off the pill and we really didn't try. next month however is already marked on the calender, and we will be very "busy". :)

Hmmm...

I have been putting off posting because i have not gotten my period yet and typically it would have come on Thursday. However i am completely aware of the fact that this was my first month off and it may be late due to that, so i am doing my best not to get excited over nothing. I did have some spotting which could be a sign of starting or a sign of implantation, but i am leaning towards starting late. (Secretly i hope i am wrong).

As far as testing goes i probably won't even think about it until this Thursday if i still haven't started that would be a whole week late. so i guess we will all have to wait and see. Brandon knows i spotted and haven't started but i told him i will probably start late and he hasn't asked any questions so i figure he is fine with that explanation, i just don't want his hopes getting up for no reason, i will let him know when i am for sure one way or the other.

this waiting game totally sucks!

Dr. Appointment

Today i went for my Annual appointment. Basically i told Dr. Jones that we are wanting to get pregnant and she told me how to monitor my cycle, which thanks to my great friends i knew all about already!!! she told me to start taking prenatals and that she hoped to see me soon!! Other then that it was a basic appointment no surprises.

Brandon seems to be getting more and more excited. he is figuring out the schedule of events. i honestly never thought he would be so involved but i am super happy that he is. he told me today get my business taken care of (my period starting this Thursday) so we can start making a baby. i am so glad he is excited about this. he seems more ready then ever. this should be a great adventure with him!

Shopping

So last night brandon and i went to babies R us and shopped for baby items. We didn't actually buy anything but just looked and tried out some strollers. we has such a blast and it was great to see him so excited about a future baby. On the way out i told him now all we have to do is make the baby and we will be set to register!!!

speaking of making the baby, pretty sure that didn't happen this month. i am feeling the typical period pains and back aches, so i should be starting son. it is very weird for me not to know exactly when i will start. for the past seven years i have known the exact day and almost the exact hour i would start, so this is like my first time all over again.

we will continue our baby making once this has passed, i have a feeling we will be much more "active" next month. I even warned brandon that it will be often and for baby making purposes not just for fun. time to get serious and down to work! :)

Lets give this a try

Ok well my since just about everyone in the world has a blog page but me i thought i would give it a try.

I am not going to give out this address just yet, not until we tell the world i am pregnant, but i thought it would be nice to keep track of the journey this way. Plus when we do have the baby, the whole family and all our friends regardless of where they live will be able to share in our excitement and joy!!!

So speaking of having a baby and trying something new, we are now officially off the birth control pill and possibly making a baby. I am not charting or anything, that just isn't me (sorry girls!), at least not yet. I will just see what happens. So far not much...but it is only the first month pill free, and we haven't been very "active" which is kinda a must when trying to get pregnant!!!
