kinsley

well little miss kinsley isn't so little anymore. in 24 days she will be 2!!!! yikes! i haven't said much about her lately other then big sister comments. she is a crazy talker and has a lot to say, i swear she has new words everyday. sometimes she is still hard to understand but with context clues you can usually figure it out. one funny thing she does is she says "deets" for thank you, its funny because i made up a word for thank you also when i was little...weird! she is full of energy and usually a very sweet girl. she has started dance and swimming starts next week! she is on a waiting list for the HMG preschool, i doubt she will get in, but oh well, it would have been cool but she will go next year anyways, it just won't be free!!!

she rode a horse at the zoo!!! 1st time and she seemed to like it, to tears anyways and she held on the whole time!!!!! i was so excited.

last time she hated the petting zoo, this time she hugged the goats, she also petted and brushed them and was pissed when we left.

getting ready for dance...soo stinkin cute! she did well the first day but cried the second day, but after brandon left the room she was fine...she was super tired that day too, so hopefully it will go well!!!

MRI

also forgot to tell you all that kinsleys MRI came back normal. that is a good thing, doesn't mean there was no stroke for sure but there could be good regrowth in that area so they can't see anything. we go for one more appt in dec. kinda of still frustrating to have no answers but oh well. thursday is her follow up swallow study, that should be an interesting one!

3 months

forgot to tell you all. the 3 month appt went great, she is 13lbs 2.5 oz. and is 24.5 inches long. heavier then kinsley but just as tall, i guess i called the wrong one moose! nothing else to report it was short and sweet!

adjusting to two

well we are adjusting here to 2 little ladies! as soon as i get used to them like this adley will be moving and the whole game will change! we are doing well and i have figured out the days and nights pretty good. poor adley has to just cry sometimes when i am cleaning up after kinsley or doing bedtime, but she calms down very quickly when she gets held. adley loves her big sister and kinsley loves her little sister, they are so cute together. k is still pretty rough but with love and just wants so badly for a to play with her. at times adley will be crying and kinsley will go talk to her and she will settle right down. too cute!

needless to say i have alot less free time so the blog is not getting much attention. i will do a month in review again at the end of aug.

3 months

wow adley is 3 months old. she is such a sweet little lady. she doesn't sleep like her sister did, but she does ok, her day time naps are so short but she does great at night time. she is super smiley and already has alot to say, she "talks" all the time and laughs out loud. we don;t have her appt till tuesday, but i think she is growing well and doing just fine. we do have fussy days, and i think it is gas related and i think she gets more gassy when i drink milk. nothing major tho. she still doesn't love belly time but will hang out on her belly for a bit and hold her head up like a champ. she is super strong, loves to stand and push off things. she startles pretty easy so kinsley can make her cry without trying, but its just part of her sweetness. she seems like she may be the quieter of the two and alittle more reserved, but alot can change still. oh and the eyes are hanging on to that blue for now!

july update!

july was another month full of fun around here!! we got to go to a couple different pools and the girls did great. kinsley loves the water, adley doesn't mind it if it isn't too cold or and she is fed and happy!!! we also went o vayda birthday party, the mustaines visited and i totally blanked on getting pics with all the kids and adley with the kids...duh! we will have to do it again!!! we took the girls to a living farm also, it was hot and smelly, but fun. kinsley seems to like the animals but takes a while to get over the fear. she dis eventually pet the horse but nothing else. lets see what else. we had lochlans christening, Brandon is a god daddy now!!!! my parents visited and we had fun at aunt mels! we had kelseys bridal shower so the poddany/rinestines family got to meet adley!!!! kinsley loved gpa R it was too cute! I m sure i am missing tons of things...
