2 teeth and FOOD!

two days after tooth number one popped up tooth number two came!!! so now we have a two tooth wonder!!!! i will try to get a good picture when they get bigger, they are the bottom middle.

as for food we just started yesterday giving kinsley food. we started with avocado, no reason just on the list i got from a book. although it is pretty cool cause all i have to do is scoop it out of the skin and it is ready to eat. we are not using traditional baby food in a jar, just never something i was very fond of. i will just be giving her soft food at first to figure out on her own and then moving along as she gets older. i have some pictures i will post ion the next couple days, but basically i just put a pile of avocado on her tray and she scooped it with her fingers, she also really liked the big spoon i used so i let her have it it lick avocado off of.

overall i think i read her ready signs right, she seems very interested and excited when i give her the food. she has gagged a few times but i think she is just getting used to the texture and the fact that she can actually swallow it! we will be moving to the next food after 4 days of avocado. doctors recommend 4 days in case of a reaction then you know what food it was that caused it. after we get a few foods going i will probably not wait 4 days but to start out i am going to. i think the next food will be banana or apple sauce we will see.
