Adley

well our little adley is settling in nicely here at home. she is handling her big sister pretty well and compared to kinsley she doesn't cry too much or very loud, unless she is really upset about something. she is sleeping pretty well thru out the day and even at night. she is up every 3 to 4 hours to eat and takes a long morning nap. usually her best sleep of the day! it gives us a chance to get kinsley up and fed and spend the morning giving her attention which is nice.

she is trying hard to hold her head up and look around. she is awake more during the day now and we can talk with her more. she has blue eyes for now and i am holding out hope they will stay, but i doubt it! i swear sometimes she smiles but i will hold of on the official first smile till i am sure.

so far she eats ok, still not a good latch, and i think she may reflux, but doesn't scream like kinsley did, she just spits up alot! she also get hiccups after just about every feeding.

overall, its going well so far. she is just adorable. still can't confirm if she looks like kinsley did or not, i go back and forth all the time. i think her eyes are different maybe. but tomorrow i may think differently! it is crazy that you can love another one like you loved the first one. makes me want lots more, but i don't want to be pregnant ever again, so that won;t happen!

brandon and i are doing well also. no postpartum concerns right now, i am feeling good and have even left adley with a babysitter already, crazy to think i left my 2 week old when i just started leaving my 20 month old. night and day differences!
